Dragon Boat Race

Dragon Boat Race

On the 22nd of June 2023, the 3L, 3F, and 5L classes all journeyed to the Ausee to compete in probably one of the most exciting events of the entire school year – the Dragon Boat Race!

Students in Dragon BoatWe had to rise early to catch our train to the competition, but it was worth the effort. When we arrived, the weather was scorching, and many of us still had to change into our swimsuits. Following that, we received an explanation of the race rules, and then it was time for the competition! The 3F and 3L started their races first, and it is safe to say they performed well, giving their best effort. Then, the 5L, my class, was up next. Our class participated in two races, and we fared well in both. The 3F and 3L also had their share of races. When the final scores were announced, we were delighted and somewhat surprised that we had secured second place! We all felt proud and enjoyed receiving the trophy.

We must also give a big shout-out to the third graders as they performed well too. In summary, it was a fantastic day, and we are thankful to the teachers who made it possible, as well as the LISA Support Association for funding the trip.
