Trip to Burghausen
On December 18th, both the 3M and 3L went on a history trip to Burghausen in Germany. Our teachers, Mrs. Bodingbauer-Gauch, Mr. Püschel, Ms. Reifinger, and Ms. Haslinger, came along.
Our day started early at 7:30 AM when the bus picked us up. During the day, we were not allowed to use our cellphones, so we had lots of time to talk and play fun games. Upon arrival, it was extremely cold! Everyone was shivering because it was so chilly.
Once we had been split into two groups, we met a friendly lady in a charming costume. She showed us the whole fortress and told us fascinating stories about Burghausen. Then, we got to explore different parts of the formidable castle. Later that day, we were taken to the city, where we had an hour to eat lunch and explore Burghausen. Then, we hopped on the bus and headed back to school. We all realized that Burghausen is a stunning city steeped in rich history.
