Valencia 2024 (6LM)
On February 25th, students from classes 6L and 6M embarked on a “once-in-a-lifetime” journey to Valencia, Spain, creating lasting memories filled with laughter.
Despite the early wake-up call at 3 a.m., excitement brimmed as we set off for Valencia. Upon our arrival, we were welcomed by our host families, who immersed us in Spanish culture. Living with them provided insights into local customs.
During our stay, we attended the engaging Taronja Language School, which offered a unique and enjoyable learning experience that included interactions with Valencia’s residents. The highlight of the school was our teacher, Antonio, who was hilarious. In addition to our time at school, we explored a variety of museums and locations. Our favorites were the „Oceanográfico“, full of aquatic wonders, and the „Mascleta“, a vibrant Valencian Spring celebration featuring fireworks. Moreover, everyone enjoyed the Valencian cuisine, especially paella and tapas. We also bonded as a group during many evenings while exploring the city together.
A huge thanks to our teachers, Mrs Bodingbauer-Gauch and Mr. Pirklbauer for accompanying and organizing this trip for us. Furthermore, we would like to thank the LISA Support Association for funding a part of this trip!
