Workshop Medair October 2025 with Markus Zorn
Did you know, you can make the difference?
This is what we learned in the span of a three-hour workshop a few months ago. Through engaging activities, from writing a letter to a good friend who works as a humanitarian aid worker, to choosing eight different objects to not only survive an extreme hazard but also help people in need at the location of action. In the end, we were very happy to be given the opportunity to ask direct questions to a humanitarian aid worker.
We would like to thank medairint for this amazing chance to learn how one can make the difference.

On the 21st of October 2025, a majority of the 7th and 8th graders had the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to take part in a workshop about Humanitarian Aid. The speaker from Medair, Markus Zorn, informed everyone about the drastic decisions aid workers must make on a day-to-day basis.
The first task was selecting the correct items to bring on various aid situations may seem boring when written in words, but Markus constructed the task in such a way that it was really enjoyable. Teamwork, laughter, and a ton of information – it takes true talent to combine all three. After a creative task concerning the precarious situations certain countries in need of aid are, the 8th graders already had to go back to the monotonous school day. But we were extremely grateful for our teachers that organised this event and enabled us to learn in a fun and diverse environment.
